Designs on the 21st Century

Dating back to 1525, Sedbergh School is one of the oldest schools in Britain - yet it has very 21st Century ambitions.

Hot on the heels of the construction of its impressive £1 million, state-of-the-art Performing Arts Centre, it has now set its sights on a £3 million refurbishment of its Art, Design & Technology Centre. Award-winning architect Ed Toovey has already created a stunning design to both contrast with and complement the school's fine, historical buildings.

Now, Lathwell & Associates has been commissioned to help support a capital fundraising drive with a series of collateral items. We've responded with a celebration of creativity over the past few decades - which generated a (healthy!) debate about the most iconic pieces of graphic design, engineering and fashion.

From the Tube map to the Olympics logo; from the angle-poise lamp to the iPad; from Biba to Aviators: which is your favourite? We'd love to hear your vote @LathwellAssoc
