PR, marcoms & social media

With 25 years' experience under our belt, including more than ten co-founding and operating one of Sydney's most successful PR consultancies in the IT sector, we understand how crucial it is to take a holistic, strategic and integrated approach to Public Relations.

Many businesses use separate people to execute press relations, social networking, email communications, advertising and print-based marketing communications. At best, this can result in mixed messages and an ill-defined reputation. At worst, it alienates audiences and undermines sales.

That's why, even if you only need us to write a press release, advert, e-newsletter or tweet, we'll first make sure we understand all your target audiences, business objectives and marketing activities. In other words, we'll scope out the landscape the item will be operating in.

If you haven't already, we can also help you to develop a suite of key messages that clearly capture your proposition to your audiences - in a language that is meaningful to them. In this way, you'll be working with consistent building blocks that will help you to establish and reinforce your desired profile.

If you'd like us to go further, we can develop an integrated programme of compelling content - in channel-appropriate forms, in an audience-appropriate voice - that will engage your audiences and demonstrate your knowledge and service ethic.

This approach has helped organisations such as Llandovery College and Business Forum Mid Devon foster close community relationships through social media. It has given STL a high profile in its target media, and its MD is regularly invited to provide expert comment in feature articles; it also unified Torex's previously siloed communications activities, giving them greater credibility with their customers.

Websense also benefited from our integrated, strategic approach - which included PR campaigns supported by extensive research projects, issue promotion and spokesperson development activities, plus channel relationship drives, direct mail and advertising. As a result, we were the first to achieve mainstream media interest in web security and bandwidth management issues, and we established Websense as the 'go to' company for media comment, as well as the preferred choice in its field for its channel.

Our PR model was noticed by the US head office and used to improve the company's PR activities around the world.
