A little more about Lathwell & Associates

Lathwell & Associates in its current form was established in 2007 by graphic designer Andrew, and PR and marketing communications consultant Niki. Our services include branding and marketing strategies, graphic design, copywriting, PR and media relations, social networking and website design.

Originally from London, Andrew has won national design awards for his tourism brochures, and commissions have included the rebrand of P&O ship Victoria for the Union-Castle Line’s centenary celebrations, and the launch design for John Lewis’ foodhall on Oxford St.

Meanwhile, Niki co-founded one of the most successful PR consultancies in the Australian IT sector, managing multi-national campaigns for companies such as SAP, Sage and Infor.

This global, corporate background means that even L&A’s smaller clients today, such as Tiverton-based arboricultural consultancy JP Associates and charity Calvert Trust Exmoor, benefit from a blend of creative verve and the level of strategic thinking that only highly experienced marketing consultants can offer.

‘We’re passionate about helping businesses to build profitable brands that improve their customer relationships and attract new prospects,’ explained Andrew. ‘Even if we’re just working on a little leaflet we’ll make sure we understand the company’s business objectives and target audiences, so that we’re making the most of its marketing spend.’

For some clients, we've developed a whole new brand, marketing or communications strategy, then provided templates and training to enable them to roll out their plan themselves. For others, we simply provide an annual marketing MOT, kick-start a project (read about Tufcoat's launch) or create the occasional promotional item as the need arises - such as an advert, case study, website or brochure (see Sally’s Cottages).

Some businesses turn to L&A to deliver special projects within tight timeframes - such as TJX's employee fast-track programme. Others – such as JP Associates or STL Technology Solutions - use us as an ongoing marketing resource, working on- and off-site as required.
